The Luminous Seaweed, a bioluminescence-fiction. Created for the Fête des Lumières Lyon 2011. Co-production Grand Lyon. Huge flying seaweed clusters are lining up to the sky, gracefully undulating under the wind in curves, the feverish agitation of their heads makes them look alive.
The organic seeming installation has an hypnotical effect on the audience. Deep in thought, the passerbies keep standing in front of them, lulled by the natural rocking of these supernatural plants.
